Pledges From Texas A&M Fraternity Busted For Defacing University Of Texas Main Building

The Texas A&M chapter of Sigma Lambda Beta sent their pledges out on the scavenger hunt of a lifetime. One of their tasks, if you can believe it, was to tag University of Texas property — with children’s sidewalk chalk — with the letters “ATM” and record it with photos. The nerve of these guys. Such a malicious, heinous act of nonsensical violence. Those letters are liable to stay there for, well, at most until the next light drizzle washes them away.

They were busted by campus PD. One pledge was issued a criminal mischief citation while the nine others were let off with warnings.

I never thought I’d say this, but I think we may have found the shittiest pledge class ever. Not only did these clowns get busted committing an elementary caliber act of illegal activity, but they broke one of the Cardinal Rules of fraternity membership as a result — they didn’t keep their mouths shut.

From The Horn:

According to the report, the student told UT police he and nine other students were pledging a fraternity.

β€œHe explained that he along with the other nine students were pledging the Sigma Lambda Beta fraternity,” the report stated. β€œThe group was currently on a scavenger hunt and needed to place the ATM logo somewhere on UT, and he had pictures to prove he had in-fact drawn the ‘ATM.’”

Dumbass.

P.S. The below image kept popping up during my quick research on the Google machine, along with countless real photos of guys wearing these letters and holding up double finger pistols all gangster style like this. Is it some sort of unofficial logo for this fraternity? If so, it would explain a lot.

So is this a real fraternity, or a fraternity like a music fraternity is a fraternity.
