From the sounds of it, this Pike party at American University deserves party of the year considerations. It’s not every day your place gets so rowdy that it takes “30 police officers from five of Montgomery County’s six police districts” to control it.

The party reportedly happened on January 15 at an off-campus house in the Washington D.C area. Police were called to the two-story house after a resident reported a loud party, which turned out to be quite the understatement.

From WJLA:

Police called for back-up and then entered the home, which they say is connected with AU’s Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Inside, officers found around 200 party-goers on the first floor alone; the conditions were repellent, dark, and rowdy; alcohol dripped through the floor boards, while the indoor air temperature was estimated at around 100 degrees. There was an ‘overwhelming odor of alcoholic beverage,’ police wrote in a 16-page report. At one point an officer used a portable breath test (PBT) to monitor the ambient air within the home; it registered at .09, which is above the legal driving limit in Maryland.

Sweet baby Jesus. This rager sounds like it was on some next level shit. This party was so ridiculous that even the air was hot, sweaty and drunk off its ass.

In the police report, authorities said the house was filled with minors hiding in closets, under beds and more, trying to avoid getting caught. That supposedly didn’t work, though. Yeah, now comes the shitty part…

Tyler Steinhardt, 22, admitted to hosting the party. He’s reportedly the director for a military non-profit called ‘Shootout for Soldiers.’ He now faces 110 counts of providing alcohol to minors, an offense that carries a fine of $2,500 per underage partygoer.

Pi Kappa Alpha’s president, 21-year-old Jamieson Tymann, will also have a court date due to the party. Tymann, a senior, allegedly punched a Montgomery County police officer in the chest and eye after he was repeatedly asked to leave the party, according to police.

An 18-year-old girl was taken to the hospital for alcohol poisoning and police say the party was also responsible for a robbery and a stabbing that night. Honestly, it’s not really a party until someone gets stabbed.

Best of luck with those court dates, fellas. Remember: The sanctions from this will hurt for a little while, but the memories of this legendary house party will never die. Rage on.

‘The sanctions will hurt for a little while’ Steinhardt is looking at over a quarter of a million on those charges alone. Instinct says he knows a good lawyer though.

Shootout for Soldiers is 24 hour lacrosse game with the money going towards the troops. It’s actually a really successful philanthropy
