(UPDATE: Video Surfaces) Public Oral Sex At Ohio University Blows Up On Social Media, Rape Alleged

UPDATE 10/28/13: No charges will be filed.

Per sources in Ohio, no charges will be filed in this case, citing the reason that both parties were too drunk to provide accurate accounts of the event.

UPDATE: We obtained video of the oral sex.

The TFM Tech Guy was able to get his hands on the sidewalk oral video through a “friend of a friend.” After much discussion, we have decided it is in our best interest not to publish the video due to possible legal ramifications.

I watched it, though. We all did. This is what we saw:

The video is 1:27 in length. The male was clearly providing oral sex to the female. Generally speaking, the two appeared to be willing participants who were, frankly, enjoying themselves. At one point in the video, the female put her right hand on the back of the male’s head while he was engaged. This lasted about eight seconds. Two different times in the video, the male looked around at different onlookers and exchanged words with them. This was in response to jeers they hurled at the couple. His words were unintelligible.

___Per a tipster, the male participant in this act of sidewalk cunnilingis is a fraternity member at Ohio University. This claim is unsubstantiated, so I’m choosing to leave the name of the fraternity out until I’m able to confirm.

Now to the report: Ohio University celebrated their Homecoming over the weekend. As part of the celebration, a parade was held that included a performance by the university marching band. Many onlookers were present to take in the scene. Two of those onlookers, however, put on quite the spectacle of their own, engaging in oral sex up against the window of the adjacent Chase Bank in Uptown Athens.

Per the report, a group of people gathered around the two. Members of the crowd recorded the public display and posted still images and video to Instagram and Twitter.

Others just posted about it.

By Sunday night, nearly every mention, photo, and video of the incident was removed from the various social media websites, although screenshots (like the two above) were captured. Per another anonymous source that spoke to Total Frat Move, the two oral enthusiasts posed for pictures with each other and with several bystanders after they were finished.

The female participant has since claimed rape, sparking an investigation by Athens police.

University policy states that a student who engages in sexual intercourse, including oral sex or any form of penetration, with an unwilling participant is subject to expulsion.

The university’s definition of consent states that consent cannot be obtained from someone who is “asleep or otherwise mentally or physically incapacitated, whether due to alcohol, drugs or some other condition.”

The woman filed the complaint after a video, allegedly showing a man performing oral sex on her on a sidewalk in Uptown Athens, circulated on Instagram. Popular local Twitter accounts caused a frenzy Sunday evening when screenshots of the video were posted. Screenshots seem to indicate the event taking place in front of Chase Bank, 2 S. Court Street.
