Radio Show Host Bobby Bones Lands “Make America Great Again” Trademark, Makes Trump A Proposition

How did Donald Trump, the savvy businessman that he so abrasively claims to be, not trademark his “Make America Great Again” slogan that he wears around on that sexy rope hat? Not sure how this one slipped by him, but it did, unless he’s privy to some kind of sketchy, backhanded trademark law that supersedes the standard one, allowing him to come over the top and counter-sue. Probably not, but it’s Trump we’re talking about.

Bobby Bones, morning radio show host of The Bobby Bones Show (big ups to my man Lunchbox – hard repping those Anderson Trojans), apparently beat Trump to the punch and trademarked the catchy phrase that Trump is wearing around, and selling.

He has an honorable goal at the end of this thing, though. If you listen to the show, you know Bobby is a standup guy. This is no money grab opportunity. Bones is willing to relinquish his trademark to Team Trump if he donates 100 grand to St. Jude. Love it.

By the way, Trump isn’t actually, legitimately running for President. Everyone is aware of this, right? The guy is the troll America needs right now. He’s an American treasure, and he’s turning this whole thing into a circus. One of the first debate questions last night was directed at Trump. He was asked about referring to women as fat pigs — a question that he didn’t defer as nonsense, because he had, in fact, called Rosie O’Donnell a fat pig. And he owned it.

That happened. At a nationally televised debate among Republican presidential candidates. None of these people answer the questions they’re asked, anyway. It’s all deflection and fluff and appealing to idiots. At least Trump keeps it exciting and cuts right through the bullshit.

Anyway, good on you, Bobby Bones. Come on, Trump. Have a heart. Do it for the kids.
