Real-Life Kenny Powers Spotted Buying Beer At The Supermarket

“Wait a second, is that Kenny Powers walking around my showroom?!”

Those were the words I spoke when meeting Kenny as he stepped into my showroom for the first time. Being the owner of one of the biggest BMW dealerships in Wilmington, N.C., you can probably imagine that I was flattered, but not too flattered. After all, KP was a washed up, soulless wreck of a pitching prodigy the first time I laid eyes on him. But still, I must admit, I was kind of star struck.

That said, I can’t imagine what an anonymous Reddit user was thinking when he ran into Kenny at the supermarket yesterday. He threw this picture up on Reddit accompanied by, “I found the Latino Kenny Powers.”

There is no doubt in my mind that this is him–although, I’m not completely sure about Kenny’s Latino heritage.

Looks like he’s put on a few pounds since we saw him last season, but what can I say? The man loves his Pacifico cerveza. I hope this chump didn’t approach him for an autograph, because Kenny would have either knocked him out or tried to charge him $100 and then knock him out when he scoffed at the price tag. Let’s just hope this picture souvenir was fulfilling enough for the ogling fan.
