Rick Pitino Is Currently On A Vegas Bender

If you’re looking for Louisville head basketball coach Rick Pitino and you can’t find him anywhere, and he’s not picking up his cellphone, it’s because he’s bellied up to a blackjack table on the post-national championship Vegas bender of a lifetime. They make you walk away from the table to answer your phone, and Rick isn’t going to do that — not for you, not for anyone.

Rick’s been going on five days now.

From Busted Coverage:

From what we can tell from boots on the ground, Rick Pitino has been on a Vegas craps and blackjack bender since last Friday. BC researchers tell us he was still playing craps as of 2:48 this morning.

^ Homeboy on the left that forgot his sleeves reminds me of how amazing the people watching is in Las Vegas. It’s the People Watching Capital of the World, featuring a very diverse gathering from all walks of life. This guy must’ve have lost his gold chain and matching bracelet during an in-between-paychecks spree of throwing bones in a rundown motel.

I’m a bit confused to see him in there, though. Here’s why: Judging by the few people present, the upscale tables and their lion emblems, this is the high roller room at MGM Grand. The thing that’s throwing me off is the white chip this hombre just threw down. White chips are typically one dollar chips, and those don’t get you in the high roller area, hell, or even the general gaming floor. Perhaps he’s tossing/tipping the dealer his final buck after taking a beating. Poor bastard.

Not Rick, though. Rick is living large.

The fuck would you do after being the only coach to win it all with 2 different schools?

Better be careful there Rick, don’t want to have to go pawning off your 96 UK championship ring due to a cold stretch as you won’t get back what it’s actually worth.
