Rutgers Fraternity Hangs Harmless Breast Cancer Signs On House, Campus Outrage Ensues

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. During the month, you’ll find countless pink things and hear sayings such as “I heart boobies” or “Save the ta tas.” These types of things will be found everywhere across the United States, and it’s great, because raising awareness for breast cancer is a great thing.

Rutgers University is one of the places where you’ll see a lot of Breast Cancer Awareness decorations. That’s because each October, the Greek houses will decorate their houses pink for Zeta Tau Alpha’s “Think Pink” campaign. The house that is determined to be the most pink wins a dinner with the girls. Sounds harmless, right? Show a little support for a good cause, and win a dinner with the girls. Well one fraternity, Theta Delta Chi, is in some hot water for the signs they made. Check out what these guys put out.

Looks like a good display if you ask me. Unfortunately, because everyone has to constantly be mad about something these days, someone took a photo, posted it to Facebook, and let the cry babies in.

Here are just a few of the comments that stood out:

Comment 1

So now they’re perpetuating rape culture because they want to support breast cancer? Say what now? That’s the most asinine thing I’ve ever heard. For those who don’t know, “I heart boobies” is something created by the Keep A Breast foundation, not fraternities.

Comment 2

Sounds like someone didn’t get a bid.

Comment 3

Dang these boys for writing “save the ta-tas!” They should be hung for the whole world to see, right? It’s not like save the ta-tas didn’t already exist as a charitable organization for breast cancer.

It was probably an idea that some creepy, misogynistic dude came up with. What’s that? It was founded by a woman? Welp, guess I’m wrong.

The resulting outrage led to the Dean of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs to email the fraternity to remove the signs. They complied with the request because despite what these commenters think, they aren’t terrible guys. So my question is this: Why are people so outraged over Theta Delta Chi for these signs? Just a thought, but what if the concerned citizens spent as much time raising awareness for breast cancer as they did complaining against fraternities?

Look what happens when this exec board has to deal with its school’s “PC police.”

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Don’t. Fucking. Surrender. Don’t apologize. Don’t even acknowledge them. These PC liberal fuck sticks live off likes, comments, and attention. Complaining is an easy way of getting attention without talent or intelligence. Don’t cave. Don’t give them attention. Don’t give them validation.

Take out that middle sentence and I feel like Dorn’s speech to Grandex regarding us and the forums was pretty similar

Thanks. The first time i saw this site was in 2011 while in HS (No i didnt jump on the HS frat star train) It was much different and you could tell it wasnt affected nor afraid of the PC cultures, and was unapolegitic of fraternity life/ culture. There are a couple websites that let you look up old websites via screen shots…everyone should see 2011 tfm v 2015

People like this, their ignorance and self-entitlement to think anyone cares about their complaints, are the downfall of America.

What I like is that through these signs and outrage, TDX has actually achieved the goal and raised a lot of awareness for breast cancer and is having people talk about it. Something I feel is lost on those upset.

These people won’t directly cause the downfall of America- it is those like the Rutgers Administration who empower them that slowly erode the fabric of this great nation. Without their support and follow up, the social justice warriors become little more than crybabies

What the actual fuck. Some people man will never be happy period. And I love how the one retard generalized an entire system saying they are all “privileged AF”.

Couple things if I did that to say whinny hipsters and said they all are dumb as hell. I’m generalizing and racist and terrible.

Also Leta just assume they are all “privileged AF” when did it become a crime to be successful or to have a successful family. Holy shit.

I feel like Rutgers isn’t that kind of “white privileged”/ Greek culture kind of school. These liberals are making claims about shit that just doesn’t exist

Liberals hate anyone who made their own way and earned it. God forbid you’re more successful than others, here comes the fucking liberals demanding it for themselves.

I’m getting exceptionally sick of the “privilege” argument. Yep, I have privilege. I have two (straight) parents who were married before I was born, stayed married after I was born, took an active interest and role in my childhood development, encouraged me, disciplined me, instilled values in me (largely by way of the church), put me through college (while nudging me into a STEM major), and continue to be a part of my life to this day.

But racism, or something. Now I just want to hit someone.

Especially in this case. Specifically, contact those breast cancer organizations and let’s see who they support.

These types of stories keep getting more and more rediculous. How are people not outraged at these protestors? They’re the ones who are complaining about the support of breast cancer awareness…
