Sam Steele and Christian Ponder Have Already Tied the Knot

As TFM user Terri_Schiavo_Drunk succinctly put it when we broke the engagement:

I’m inclined to buy into this theory. A rapid chain of events such as this makes any other scenario seem unlikely. Although, my colleague Bacon believes these nuptials came about at warp-speed for a different reason.

“I’m telling you guys,” said Bacon. “Ponder just wanted to get some. Steele is a good Christian girl and wouldn’t let him get in there until they were married. He was just sitting there looking across at Steele like ‘I gotta have sex this girl.'”

A report in the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram said the two were married a Hudson, Wis., courthouse on Monday afternoon. FOXSportsNorth.com has confirmed the marriage application with the courthouse, but a court official said the marriage itself is not public record.

Ponder, 24, and Steele, who turned 27 last week, were reportedly married by the court commissioner

A month-long courtship followed by a two-week engagement, then they tie the knot in a courthouse? This just reeks of shotgun wedding. I’d bet the first round at the bar that there’s a tiny bun in that sexy oven. And Steele being the innocent media darling with an image to uphold, she wanted the conception-to-birth timeline to align as closely as possible with her wedding night.

Who cares though, right? Congrats to the newly weds.
