Selfie Shows Reporter Almost Has Head Taken Off By Homerun Ball, Also Really Attractive

Kelly Nash, a reporter for Fox’s Sun Sports, was in Boston Saturday for the Red Sox-Stros game. During pre-game batting practice, she was wandering about Fenway snapping selfies and other photos of the iconic baseball stadium. Later on, while viewing her photos, she noticed that her head was nearly taken clean off by a homerun ball.

From Fox Sports Florida:

“I was taking a picture of myself in the seats above the Green Monster during Red Sox batting practice.

“Producer Art Dryce had called out ‘heads up!’ a few times while I was taking pictures around the left field section, but none of those balls actually fell close to me, so I took my chances turning my back on batting practice for a picture.

“My whole family is from Massachusetts, and I knew they would be so excited to see me working at Fenway Park, and when I went to text them the picture I noticed the baseball by my head!

“Chick died in a Fenway Park batting practice accident. What an idiot! Hahahaha. Ahhh, I’m at Fenway…honey, take a good picture. I’m dead!”

Just inches away. Crazy.

I was on the fence about covering this one. It’s a neat photo and everything, but basically every news outlet — sports related or otherwise — has already covered it. It was her sex appeal that convinced me to go ahead and pull the trigger.
