SMU Football Will Be Wearing Some Fire Helmets This Weekend To Honor Heroes
This Friday night, SMU is hosting the Temple Owls for their annual Hats Off To Heroes game. The game is meant to honor firefighters, policemen, veterans, current servicemen, and other first responders. In fact, complimentary tickets will be available for military service members, veterans, police officers, firefighters, first responders, and their families.
It’s a cool thing that SMU does. The helmets that they will be wearing are just as cool. Check them out.

Those are straight fire. Temple shouldn’t even bother showing up now that we are going to be rocking these. I don’t know what the line is currently, but I’m dumping all my money on SMU. They’ll pull this one out with ease. Ah, who am I kidding? We’ll get crumpled, but at least we’ll look good doing it.
Look good. Feel good. Lose by 50. That’s the SMU way..

It’s a shame nobody will be watching.

10 years ago at 5:36 amI feel like Temple should go ahead and throw the game, beating a team with these helmets would be downright un-American.
