Porn-Loving Cardinals Pitcher Is Getting Sued For Allegedly Giving A Woman An STD

The personal life of St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Carlos Martinez is one that I’d love to know more about. He’s a dominant force when on the mound and a great clubhouse guy from what I hear, but he definitely loves porn and loves banging chicks. The problem is he allegedly has an STD, which makes bumpin’ fuzz a bit tougher. Now, he’s being sued for it.

The woman behind the suit, filed in district court in Miami, claims she began a romantic relationship with Martinez in 2012 — and the two had an on-and-off relationship for years.
According to the suit, the two reconnected last year — and began having sex again on Dec. 16th. Two days later, the woman claims she began to feel ill and later tested positive for multiple STDs.

The woman claims she had grilled Martinez about his sexual health before they hooked up and he “swore to God that he was not infected with any sexually transmitted disease.”

Soon after the woman informed Martinez about her condition, he allegedly bolted for the Dominican Republic and never called her back.

Oh man. I’ve heard of waking up from a regrettable ONS and bolting, but leaving the country after giving someone an STD? That’s next level shit. I’m not even mad — I’m impressed.

The woman is suing the 24-year-old righty for battery, negligent transmission of sexually transmitted diseases and fraud. She also wants more than $1.5 million. Martinez is only making $539,000 this year so that’d be a devastating loss of money (although he’s arbitration eligible next season). A representative for Martinez denied the woman’s allegations.

Remember now, this is the same pitcher the Cardinals had to sit down and talk to about his porn habits on Twitter. Martinez had a massive “Favorite” wall of porn. It wasn’t like the tasteful stuff either. It was the snatch-inches-away-from-the-camera type shit.

After prospect Oscar Tavares died in a car wreck last year, Martinez posted a picture of his dead body on Twitter. Again, the Cardinals were like “wtf, dude?” and he took it down. As you can see, Martinez might not be the smartest dude in the world, but he can throw the shit out of that baseball. That will usually get you out of a lot of trouble.

Oh Carlos, what are we gonna do with you? Ride you all the way into the playoffs and then take home another World Series? Fine, that seems fair..
