Tasteless “Finish What Katrina Started” Sign At Bama Sparks Outrage, Promptly Taken Down

An offensive sign hanging at an off-campus apartment complex near the University of Alabama has been taken down, according to the school’s newspaper.

The sign, which read “Finish What Katrina Started,” was perhaps the most tasteless sign we’ve seen this season.

It was thought to be hanging at an Alabama fraternity house, but The Crimson White editor-in-chief was quick to note that a fraternity was not at fault.

Wow. Can you believe it? College students who aren’t involved in Greek life can be tasteless and offensive, as well. What a world. Now, of course, there is always the possibility that fraternity members who lived at this residence were complicit, but let’s just humor the idea that maybe, JUST maybe, we got off scot-free this time. Big win for Greek life, if true — even though the court of public opinion has likely already condemned Alabama fraternities forever.

If you have more information about the sign, email tips@totalfratmove.com.

By the way, LSU is going to hammer the shit out of the Crimson Tide.

As someone from Houston I really wish Katrina hadn’t happened. Tens of thousands never moved back. I don’t blame anyone but it made obvious changes here.

I don’t want anything bad to happen to good people, but when every single weather person on the planet says get out of town and you stay, you’re not a victim, you’re dumb. I’m getting lapped likely because people think I’m being racist (which makes them racist to assume that), however, when tens of thousands of poor, homeless, jobless, trash move into your nicer neighborhoods (thanks to FEMA turning the suburbs into section 8 housing) and crime sky rockets,it’s a problem. Meth heads everywhere.

If you live in a section 8 affordable neighborhood you’re a fuckup lol loser

No, you’re an idiot, they took 4,000 sq. ft. Houses that were new construction and gave them to the refugees.
You really have no idea how bad this was.

It’s part of the governments plan believe it or not. I’m on my phone so I can’t provide the link, but they routinely try to build public housing in wealthy, white neighborhoods and forcefully bring in “diversity”.

Your wealthy white neighborhood conspiracy is bullshit. LA moved all the homeless nigs in a centralized area as far from downtown as they could. Heard of skid row? Read a book. One time

Very true, at my old highschool, it was 98% white at a public school, once I graduated were in the works of making plans to build subsidized housing.

They did that near me and the crime rate hasn’t really changed in those areas. If anything it causes problems when people who are scared of that move out, even though they usually have the resources to tackle that supposed problem (like buy home security and etc.). Thus the areas become poorer as a result of that and the problem never gets solved. If the people who move out would nut up then maybe we could get some tangible data and go from there.

“Yo so where do we put them?”
“Idk, where’s the second shittiest place in the country to be at right now?”
        Everyone: “Houston”

Same with Atlanta, although unsurprisingly it didn’t make much of a change here.

As an LSU student and a victim of Katrina, I’ll leave it at this…Am I in the least bit offended?….not even close. Our entire campus has made so many jokes about Alabama and incest, education, dental issues, etc. that if we even thought about complaining about this sign it would be the biggest double standard. Don’t buy in to liberal media, we’ve instigated them to this point….now it’s time to take their rebuttal like a true fan. LETS GEAUX TIGERS

And yes, Katrina killed and or damaged many innocent lives. But, if you fuckers want to get technical then ill leave you to ponder this. Our Number 1 Alabama joke has to do with incest. Well, a PsychologyToday study shows that out of 100 children whose parents were 1st or 2nd relatives, 42% of them were born with severe birth defects, most suffering early deaths…another 11% were born with mild to severe mental defects that will hinder their abilities for the rest of their lives…..that shit isn’t a joke, yet we treat it as such. Stop trying to be PC and accept the reaction that we were trying to get.
