I would say he should have been put on display in New York to be pissed on, but he doesn’t deserve the honor of being on our blessed American soil, even in death.
Personally, I would have loved to see the Navy throw his body on a dinghy and hit it with a few bursts from the Phalanx cannon they have on many of their ships now. It would grind him up into tiny little bits and not leave anything larger than a tin of Copenhagen to remember him by.
I think it’s great that we tossed him off the side of the boat, and important that our men did not desecrate or dismember his body. Even in dealing with the most evil and spineless rodent in all of our history, we showed that Americans have something these terrorists don’t – a sense of honor.
