engineering jobs are cool though whereas your middle management job will cause you to hate yourself, question every life decision you have ever made, and contemplate suicide
if you’re not using metric units in your engineering classes, your professor must be an idiot. first of all, it’s way easier to use metric with conversions and on top of that it’s the world standard for engineering. get a job in the field, and you’ll use metric.
What the hell kind of shitty engineering school do you go to? Everyone uses metric in engineering.
14 years ago at 9:51 amThe University of Texas shithead… and in in America, we use fucking American units
14 years ago at 9:57 amThey’re units from England, not America, we’re just the only ones still using them.
14 years ago at 10:00 amTell your redneck professor that “American Units” originated in England and the only other countries that currently use it are Liberia and Myanmar.
14 years ago at 10:57 amThe Imperial System has its shortcomings. Metric is the way to go.
14 years ago at 11:05 pmStill doing it the American way, TFTC.
14 years ago at 10:16 amBy the way it is called Imperial units.
14 years ago at 10:34 amEngineering major is probably as cool as watching goats eat grass in a field…

14 years ago at 1:06 pmexcept when your coming out making 85K. Petroleum engineering FTW
14 years ago at 2:16 pmexcept when an asian takes your job, causing you to go into prostitution, selling your butthole to pay for your crack addiction
14 years ago at 5:21 pmthis is a total retarded move.
The U.S shouldve moved to the metric system a long time ago.
14 years ago at 1:32 pmAs an engineer, the metric system is so much easier to use for conversions then english units.

14 years ago at 2:20 pmIn upperlevel engineering disiplines ( fluid mechanics, heat transfer, ext) english units are nearly impossible to use in a timely manner.
