They were my oldest pair, of course I have multiple ones. Those were a year or so old, dating back to pledgeship. That’s probably part of the reason they smelt so bad. Although I did figure spending all summer at Ft Jackson with no leave would have let them air out a bit.
Over break, my mom thought mine were so fratted out that she ordered me two new pairs. One sent to the frat castle, and the other overnighted home so I would have em in time for thanksgiving.
I made my Mom buy me new Sperrys over break. Tfm.
