Nation (Probably) Stunned After Texas A&M Fraternity Does Good Deed, Returns Missing Autistic Boy To Family

Collin McChristy, a 7 year old autistic boy from College Station, Texas, wandered out of his home and was reported missing the evening of November 5th. What was undoubtedly the sort of night that Collin’s (or any) parents have nightmares about that require three room checks and a 2:00 a.m. drink alone in the kitchen just to calm down eventually ended in relief the following morning, thankfully, as Collin was found at the Texas A&M Pi Kappa Phi house and returned to his family by chapter members.

According to one Pi Kapp member, Collin just walked into the house and sat down in front of a TV.

“He walked right through this little walk way and sat right here,” said fraternity member Clayton Chapin. “I guess he saw the Xbox and TV and guess he decided he wanted to hang out in this room.”

Chapin soon noticed a picture of McChristy on Twitter and called police, who arrived within minutes.

McChristy was then reunited with his parents.

I can relate to Collin here. I have wandered into a room at my fraternity house countless times and thought, “Yeah this’ll do,” as I planted myself in front of a TV and/or XBox and just sat there for a while. That was pretty much my Monday through Friday between when class ended and dinner was served. For like five years.

Collin is safe and sound now, and according to authorities was unharmed in his adventure.

Props to Pi Kapp for figuring everything out and getting Collin home safe and sound. I can’t imagine what my reaction would be upon finding a missing kid in the fraternity house, but after a series of bad jokes about somebody’s long lost child being dropped off at the place he was conceived I imagine I’d pawn him off on the president. Though, actually, I could watch Phineas and Ferb all day. I’d have no problem hanging with this kid until the authorities arrived. Just send a pledge to get some juice boxes and Goldfish Crackers and the whole thing works itself out. Sounds like a fun little day, to be honest.

Idk about this story, Rob. Fraternities are never like this. Lets get Rolling Stones to investigate.

An unnamed source (probably goes by Jackie) has since claimed they drugged and raped the boy before handing him back to the police….probably.

In other news Washington State University IFC and PAN have imposed a moratorium on Greek events following a student’s death from school overdose and a number of rape allegations.

Shouldn’t you be on Facebook pouring your heart out and hash tagging #ImStillwithHer and #NotMyPresident.

The headline makes it sound like they stole him in the first place.

    Phrasing, Rob.

What the fuck? You make it sound like you’re surprised they didn’t keep him. What else were they gonna do?
