My family settled down south in God's country 300 years before your GDI family settled on the Jersey Shore. TFM.

Unless you’re a Native American that’s not true. Jamestown wasn’t founded until 1607. 500 years later and that would make it 2107 plus 9 more years–yea, it’s not 2116. Sorry.

I guess if you don’t take it so literally he could mean the 17th-21st centuries?

That means your family is literally the oldest family in the United States. That’s based off of me guessing that their GDI family settled on the Jersey Shore around the 1920 mark. Then your family was very loyal to the British crown? Seeing as in 1620 they were the people who took the land in the name King James I.

got news for you bro. in this country, it doesn’t matter if your family has been here for 100 years or 1 year. what matters is the American spirit. I know plenty of “old” families that have no fucking respect for this country and what it stands for. I also know recent immigrants that are so fucking proud and eager to become American it would put your elitist ass to shame.

While true, it is nice to be from an old family and respect your history and traditions.

My family was one of the first 18 or 20 to come over and colonize Jamestown and we owned the land for the alternate site they were considering for DC. TFM.
