The Dudes Who Started The Harambe Chants At The PGA Championship Are FSU Theta Chi Members

Harambe may be gone, but through the power of meme, his memory will live on forever.

By now, I’m sure you’ve seen the videos of people spreading the Word of Harambe during the PGA Championship, praising His name out loud after the golfers took their shots.

Well, the faithful disciples of Harambe have finally been revealed in an email to TFM: a duo of Florida State University Theta Chis. One of the brothers, Gabe Rowe, says that once they started shouting various Harambe-isms, other people joined in, even following them from hole to hole to keep the chants going strong.

One of my brothers was the guy yelling “justice for harambe” after T shots at the PGA tour yesterday.
This movement needs more attention and I’m sure he’d be down to answer and questions or anything. His name is Gabe Rowe on Facebook. And yes if you say his name out loud it sounds like “gay bro.”
