Is This The Most College Video Of All Time?

The concept of balancing work with play is central to the college experience. On any given night, some of your friends are out overdrafting their parent-funded debit cards on rail whiskey drinks while others are holed up in a library cube learning about the ins and outs of quantum mechanics. Then the next night, those two groups will switch places. At its core, college is just a bunch of smart people vacillating between acting like smart people and acting like those whose career tools include a spatula and an industrial fryer.

That’s why I love this video so much.

It has everything. A guy staying in studying biochem. His buddy publicly urinating. A slackline. A drunk dude inexplicably pedaling full bore into said slackline. This is the work-play balance of college in 9 seconds. They should show this at college orientation sessions so that those time wastes serve a purpose other than for scouting out girls you’ll try to schmooze at a $5-a-cup kegger during syllabus week.
