The Sounds From Philadelphia As Nova Defeats UNC Will Give You Chills
Last night’s national title game made up for the overall terrible tournament. In what was hands-down the most exciting basketball game during March Madness, Marcus Paige looked like he hit a miracle three-pointer to send the game into overtime after the Tar Heels came back from a 10-point deficit in the closing minutes. That was until this happened…
The shot sent fans all around the country into a frenzy. I could hear the bar down the street going nuts. I was going nuts. Twitter was going nuts. Everyone was going nuts, especially the fans of Villanova.
The reaction at The Pavilion, the home arena for the Wildcats, was insane.

But the greatest scene was at a local campus bar.

Just crazy. I can only imagine how many couches were burned, riots incited, and girls impregnated last night. Congrats to the Wildcats on their second title. Just make sure to stop in Dallas on your way back to play SMU for that trophy..
Storybook ending. I’ll never forget it.
9 years ago at 10:12 amPretty good article, Harrison. This one was gift-wrapped for you though. Only Dorn could’ve fucked it up. I have a feeling I’ll be cursing your name soon enough.
9 years ago at 10:15 amShit was wild. About 10 -15 helicopters circling around outside my apartment. Kids burning bushes and couches. Looked like a war zone on my way to work this morning.
9 years ago at 10:19 amThere was a riot squad and horse cops called in to break things up last night…absolutely unreal
9 years ago at 10:21 amI’d watch a show called “Horse Cops”
9 years ago at 11:28 amI smell like cigars and stale beer. And I can’t find my dinning room table. Last night was legendary.
