The Stephen A. Smith Curse Is The NBA Version Of The Madden Curse

Usurping the Madden curse as the bubonic plague destroying the dreams of athletes, supposed “expert” Stephen A. Smith has now incorrectly predicted a staggering six consecutive NBA Finals. Someone made a compilation video of him making all of the predictions.

Taking pre-series odds into account, a 100 dollar wager on the 2011 LeBron meltdown…I mean Mavs championship, and a subsequent Randy Marsh style “let it ride” wager against Stephen A. Smith selections up through 2016 would net almost $4500 in pure profit.

Stephen A. Smith, despite making worse choices than those partaking in the inevitable 2 a.m. “final sweep” of the bar, is the last man standing from tv’s most abhorrent duo. Come next year, he’ll be shouting his incorrect prediction at some new guy who all of us will have already come to hate.

Stephen A., if the City of Cleveland can win a championship, anything is possible. There’s always next year.

    He’s a paid talking head. About as much credibility as Mel kiper but he still get the spotlight every April. I mean really what are either of their credentials to make these kinds of picks. Not saying I’m worthy
