This All-American golf bag. TFM.

Slapping the American flag/colors/theme onto everything imaginable is ruining a good thing. I appreciate it less and less every time I see it. Couple years ago something as simple as an American flag coozie was a cool novelty that everyone could appreciate, but through one-upsmanship and try-hardness it’s gotten out of control and is slightly sickening. I’m all up for going overboard for the sake of going overboard as a guiding principle, but stop thinking your soooo fucking frat for purchasing something with the flag on it. It’s the laziest attempt at being unique/novel/ironic/cool you could possibly get. And don’t even for a second think that you’re being patriotic…deep down you know that you’re just trying to replicate something you’ve seen millions of other people do to try and fit and and feel good about yourself. A true patriot would realize this and respect the flag, not contribute to this mockery. Not saying this one picture is the biggest offender, but after scrolling through the photos I couldn’t help but stop here and say my piece. (I actually have a flag head cover on my driver…and starting to re-think it) Moderation people. Moderation.

Fuck you, I had this bag before I was in a fraternity. I love Old Glory and the United States. If people want to have the American flag on their stuff, they should be able to. This flag should be everywhere and on everything because America is the greatest fucking country on this earth. Take pride in the country you live in and don’t put down anyone else who does.

Hey man, calm down. Really didn’t mean this as a personal shot at you. I kind of like the bag. I wrote this in 2 minutes during my post lunch dump sesh and didn’t relay the tone I intended.

All I mean is that the gluttony of American themed apparel/items is making each one less great. I’m saying it’s hard for me to like my American flag head cover as much as I would if I have to see some nasty slobs of humans decked out in every single American thing they can find on a daily basis. It is way more of a “thing” and fad now then it is a representation of someone’s love of country.

We all agree America is the best country, and that if people want to wear it they have a right to. I too also have a right to be absolutely sick of seeing it.

Sorry for going off on ya, I also believe it is disrespectful to the flag if it is distorted or misrepresented in any fashion on clothes or other things. But I believe it is one of the better fads of the times, especially amidst the strong emotions that certain flags have brought upon people in this country recently.

Ok fine… Cool bag… But the owner is a tool.
    Ball retriever? Check!
    Iron covers? Check!
Dirt stuck in your grooves and bottom of your woods? Check!
    More woods than irons? Check!
    Tired old Adams clubs? Check!
Sorry bro, go America but I am actually embarrassed that you’re using this bag. It’s an insult to the Ryder Cup team that used these bags. And dude, I’d play you anytime, anywhere. Just be sure to bring your wallet… And your ball retriever.
