Seriously, what is happening here?

The only way to describe it, at least in my mind, is to say that a huge, invisible bowling ball struck right in the middle of the two pursuing outfielders, and it just blew them the hell up. Then, as a residual effect — much like when we knock down bowling pins only to see one of them slowly roll across the lane and gently take out a standing pin on the other side — the outfielder who catches the ball gets his feet taken out from under him by his fallen comrade.

I see that their feet clip each other while running, but the flailing routine just seems so exaggerated, doesn’t it? Almost choreographed.

Funny stuff.
