10 years ago at 11:12 amI see your point but first of all I don’t think she ever says she hates police – just sees problems and needs for reform. I also don’t think that calling for something to be changed necessarily means you have to turn your back on it completely. For example, a Catholic during the priest scandal could look at the Church and say yeah something is fucked up here without completely abandoning their faith. So believing something is wrong with police doesn’t mean you shouldn’t still be able to use them if you need them. They’re there to serve and protect regardless.
