Top 10 College Football Fanbases Named By Emory Sports Marketing Analysis

The SEC and Big Ten have a strong showing in the top ten college football fanbases, just as they did in the Princeton Review’s top party school list. Still, the University of Texas is unsurprisingly number one on the list. That is especially unsurprising when you consider that revenue was a big factor in the rankings. Notre Dame is on the list as well. I’ll give it to Fighting Irish fans; they may not tailgate very well, or party hardly at all, but golly gee do they sure love football! The dark horse on the list is the University of Washington at number ten. Surprised to see them there, but hey, congrats.

Here are the full rankings below. Feel free to use the comments to explain why people who did actual research on the subject are wrong.

Washington? Thought that looked suspicious so I looked up their attendance figures. They average about 57k for home games. In a stadium that seats 72,000. Yeah, great fanbase…..

Fuck the Huskies. Just about any other team from the SEC, or teams like USC and Oklahoma definitely deserve a seat at the table. And don’t tell me how to live my life Bacon, I’ll argue with researches conducted by actual professionals in the field from actual research firms if I want to.
