Trevone Boykin Is So Good Even Opposing Coaches Feel The Need To Dap Him Up

Trevone Boykin is still killing it at TCU.

It’s not the SEC, so the media isn’t going to light him up with a ton of Heisman praise until they absolutely have to, but Boykin should be a favorite to take home the trophy in early December. Did you know that ESPN has a full-time Heismanologist on staff ready to break down this year’s winner? I should have gone to school for my Heismanology degree — but Texas’ Heismanology program has been declining since the late 2010s.

Last night, after flipping over to garbage sports channel FS1 from UNC-Pitt on ESPN, I witnessed an amazing Trevone Boykin first down run that ended with West Virginia head coach Dana Holgorsen dapping him up.

Apparently, Holgorsen mouthed “God damn it, it’s not even fair,” after the cameras cut away. West Virginia was already losing by 27.

He probably also whispered, “Please take it easy on my kids. My job depends on it. I should have recruited you harder.”

One thing is clear, we know who Dana thinks should win the Heisman:
