U.S. News Names the Ten Colleges With the Highest Percentage of Students in Fraternities

If you REALLY hate GDIs then these are the schools for you, because apparently they have the fewest drum circles and long boards.

1. Welch College (TN)-98%
2. Lyon College (AR)-92%
3. Washington and Lee University (VA)-86%
4. DePauw University (IN)-76%
5. Sewanee–University of the South (TN)-67%
6. Millsaps College (MS)-60%
7. York College (NE)-60%
8. Wabash College (IN)-52%
9. Transylvania College (KY)-50%
10. Dartmouth College (NH)-48%

Nationally, fraternity membership at universities is obviously at a much smaller percentage.

At the 951 ranked college and universities that reported fraternity participation data to U.S. News in a 2012 survey, an average of 8.1 percent of the male, degree-seeking undergraduate students enrolled in fall 2011 were members of a fraternity.

We are the 8.1%.

Yeah York College has no legitimate IFC Fraternities, they have clubs, which they decided to name with Greek letters, and there is only 500 kids there. U.S News is a joke.
