I always feel the need to chime in on this. While TKE is garbage on a national scale, that expression actually stems from their lack of racial discrimination at their founding. Basically saying other fraternities won’t take you due to race but TKE will.
It actually comes from accepting vets when they came back from WWII when other fraternities wouldn’t because they weren’t traditional students. The discrimination clause part is true, but it’s not where it came from
Ron Jeremy is an honorary, and he didn’t do a damn thing to earn that status. Nationals won’t acknowledge it. If a pledge says Ron Jeremy when we ask him to name famous Tekes, he’s fucked
Tau Kappa Epsilon is good enough for Ronald Reagan, but apparently we have not reached the standards of a man who posts on a message board as Jim_Crow. I’m sure brothers everywhere are devastated that “Jim_Crow” does not like us.
