This would be funny if it were remotely possible. A 4.0 from Dartmouth in a respectable major will land you a job at Bridgewater or Silverlake- any company with a ‘Father Son Tournament’ probably doesn’t even know what the fuck they are. And to AccuFrat, while Yale might be a good school, Dartmouth absolutely dominates the finance world, third only to Harvard and Wharton.
Also, if this took place in North Carolina, I assume he got some pathetic job at a regional Charlotte bank, and anyone who went to Dartmouth would sooner hang themselves than work in Charlotte (or Atlanta.) But then again, kids in finance in the south don’t really have a good perspective on what is actually a good job.
