If Obama really wanted to stimulate the economy, the drinking age would be 18. TFM.

Right, because most of us weren’t already buying copious amounts of liquor before college?

If you’re 18 you can legally drink as long as you’re on base. Just like your name, take a lap.

^Um, no you can’t. At least on most military installations the age is 21. I know for a fact that it is 21 at Ft. Sill, Ft. Huachuca, and Redstone Arsenal.

I apologize, it is if you’re within 50 miles of a country with a lower drinking age. My friend who has been drinking on base since he was 18 is stationed in Texas within 50 miles of Mexico.

13 years ago at 12:16 pm
    4. BlazersKhakisNattys

Ft Huachuca is about 20-30 miles from the Mexican border, and underage can’t drink on post.

If I’m not mistaken, it’s all based on Commander’s discretion.

Correction: If mothers against drunk driving hadn’t been on the rag constantly for the past 3 decades, the drinking age would be 18. Not defending obama, just saying it’s those fucking cunts, not politicians today

Ragingandhazing- Precisely.. it doesn’t matter who is president, it’s all because of MADD and the whole not funding highways thing.

13 years ago at 5:10 pm
    3. slore slayer

Ragingandhazing is correct. MADD is one of the main reasons the drinking age is 18. Also, because the federal government will revoke highway funds if a state changes their state law to be below 18.

Reagan started the debt when he signed budget’s continually passed by Democratic legislatures for 8 years. Fucktard. It’s amazing what he was able to do despite not holding either the House or the Senate during his entire tenure.

Hey cogburn, I noticed you never responded to this “Jesus said “It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid.” (Luke 16:17 NAB) This is in reference to the old testament laws. “All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in righteousness…” (2 Timothy 3:16 NAB) “For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass the law until all is accomplished. Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:18-19 RSV) Clearly the Old Testament is to be abided by until the end of human existence itself. None other than Jesus said so. It would also behoove you to read Exodus 22:19 where Christians are supposed to kill members of other religions. So I ask, is Christianity really a religion of peace? Don’t quote the bible at me when you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. ”

IS it because you know I am right?

Scbro, with all due respect, your knowledge of scripture ain’t worth a velvet painting of a whale and a dolphin getting it on. You must have completely misread the verse from Exodus you cited. So I’m going to to remind you of your own words: “don’t quite the Bible at me when you clearly have no idea what you are talking about.”

Everyone please read that verse and we’ll all have a good laugh at our dear friend, scbro.

    9. scbro91

Excuse me I was off by one. Exodus 22:20 commands all followers of the Christian god to kill those who are members of any other religions. As does Deuteronomy 13: 7-12. Of course the well known ones are death for working on the sabbath and death for premarital sex. Of course, you just conviently ignore those right?

What about the verse where Jesus said to give up all your possessions to the poor? I guess he didn’t really mean it did he…

Yea, I’m not saying Christianity is bad, it is just that the people who claim to follow it do nothing of the sort other than praise jeebus every now and then.

scbro, I understand you’re just trying to get a rise out of people (and I find it pretty sad that you went through the trouble to write all of that) and so I’m not going to dignify someone like you with an argument. All I’m going to say is that this conservative fraternity man is on the way to becoming a neurosurgeon thanks in part to the teachings of Jesus and those who have also followed his teachings (e.g. Michael Jordan, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Gandhi). But by all means, continue to make serious arguments like this on a SATIRE site. You’re guaranteed that right thanks to the 1st Amendment.

That’s bullshit and you know it. Do you plan on operating on people for free? Are you truly going to help those who can not help themselves? Or are you just going to suck more life out of the US GDP with ridiculous health care costs?

Until I read about the neurosurgeon operating on people who need help who can not afford it in the United States, I have no respect for you or any other doctor.

My bet is on the latter.

    12. Brofecta

Death is inevitable. We could all have get our healthcare for free and at the end of the day it is still inevitable. Could one consider that if the government funded it’s citizens to all eat 3 healthy meals a day and forced them to exercise, we are receiving “free health care” because that is the strongest preventative measure against heart disease? The fact of the matter is like healthy food and gym memberships, health care is a luxury. You talk about helping people who can’t help themselves when the reality is that in the end we all will succumb to the same fate. Some work hard to earn wealth so that they can afford to prolong the inevitable. So until you realize that longer life is a privilege, not a right, you have no intelligent stand in this argument.

They don’t deserve it, but it will mot likely happen. Are we now supposed to handicap ourselves to make everything equal for them? I will never be able to dunk on a 6 foot basket, and a retard would never be able to make it through one of my physics classes. Should we cease all activity in which only the fortunate could do? Get a fucking life you hippie dipshit. It is a fact of nature that people become socially separated. We could literally start from scratch and the exact same separation would immediately occur naturally, as some individuals will suffer in order to obtain something they want, and others will become lazy bums and die a measly existence. I will never be as rich as Bill Gates. Does that mean I am destined to be poor? No, I will work as hard as I can to squeeze every opportunity out of my life.

Liberals become liberals because they become envious of others. And they use their “wanting to help others” excuse in order to defend their position of why the rich are so rich, and we why should take the money from them and help others. All in all it just becomes the poor trying to help the poor. I have no problem donating to the church 10% of my earnings. I usually donate more. Is it because I am a practicing christian? Probably not because I don’t really follow the teachings. Why don’t you go ahead and start giving some solutions to all of these problems that you whine about, and then we will talk. Your whining is simply pathetic and makes me want to punch a small baby in the face. Man the fuck up, become an alpha individual in ANY social circle, get laid, and then come talk to me. Until then, live your measly omega existence out of my fucking way. This is a damn satire website and I come here to laugh, not listen to fucking liberals whine.

Scbro, you have yet to address the point that Reagan was paired up with a Democratic Congress for the entirety of both of his terms. The notion that the President has more sway over the debt than Congress is laughable.

13 years ago at 9:49 pm
    16. scbro91

Lol, the idea that I am a liberal because I am envious is laughable at best. I am liberal because I believe in equality of opportunity and services, which is something pure capitalism does not offer.

While not super rich, our family does have a few millions of dollars lying around. Tell me, why are Warren Buffet and Bill Gates liberals? It must be because they are envious of others wealth right?

13 years ago at 10:04 pm
    17. fuckingyoursister

You know how I know that you are bullshit? Because if you had “a few million dollars ‘lying around'”, you would be giving this money to charity. Oh but wait, that is your hard earned money right? YOU shouldn’t have to pay, only the SUPER rich should. Then why is the lowest tax bracket as low as it is? My father makes $300,000+ and I would not label us as SUPER rich. Why are we being taxed the same amount as the SUPER rich if we are going by your argument. We don’t have ‘a few million’ lying around… Maybe a couple hundred thousand, but millions? Please bitch, quit talking, you sound retarded.

And Buffet and Gates may claim to be liberals, but in reality their businesses were built off purely capitalistic practices. They are either elitists (many liberals, even the poor ones are elitists… just go to a Starbucks and look at some of the dipshit starving artists.) or they are just too lazy to look for their own charity measures, so they just let the government handle it.

Its called inherited money, so no, we didn’t earn it, I don’t claim to have earned it. Of course my parents work. Your right, there aren’t enough tax brackets, becuase the super rich have worked very hard to protect insane amounts of money they make.
