The American Dream is not simply to be wealthy, it is to achieve that goal on your own terms and as your own man. If you are okay with never proving your own worth and instead riding on the coattails of your forebears, more power to you. However, I wouldn’t feel that sentiment is something about which one should brag.
There’s no need to brag about what you have. TnewmoneyM. It’s great that our parents can give us the life we have, but if they don’t teach us morals and values, they have ultimately failed us. Getting everything handed to you is not fratty, nor is bragging about it.
That’s crazy because I don’t have to chase the American Dream. I inherited it too.
