Did your father tell you that? Relax bud you can call him dad. Also you sound like a chode, wouldn’t a normal person say “My dad told me after….” fuck you.
^ Shut the fuck up, you worthless piece of shit. Sounds like you’ve got some daddy issues of your own if you’re worried about the way in which he addresses his father (yes, I said father).
I thought you were better than this Ted. He is pointing out the cocky, stuck up way he worded the sentence by starting with saying father told me. Instead of saying my father told me.
Yeah right! I served in the fucking Marines and did a combat deployment. This guy is a fucking geed! You are going to go into the force and have E1s-E3s owning your officer ass. Pledge a fraternity and see what’s harder, your candy ass military academy or life as a pledge. Delete your handle you nf geed!
Fratius, you are disgracing yourself and the Marines beyond belief. Show some respect for a fellow service-man. It seems like you forgot what semper fi stood for.
I know the guy who posted this is going to be in the Army because he goes to Westpoint, but are you saying being an officer in the military would be easier than being a pledge?
Hulk and others don’t get too pissed, Fratius isn’t trolling he’s just a true enlisted soldier. When you go enlisted you deal with the most shit, see the most combat, and usually have bad officers that if you listen to you will probably end up dead.
Enlisted guys, especially with combat jobs get the most respect. Most officers don’t do jack shit. I know because I started enlisted, then was picked for OCS a few years later. It’s the most respectful way to do it if you ask me.
Being an officer from a shitty ROTC program or most crap military academies would be like not having a pledge process as a Fraternity man. I doubt any of you would listen to an active that didn’t have to pledge, or take him serious for that matter. There’s a reason why we call these LTs Butter-Bars.
This slampieceslamma better be on top of his shit. Because he is going to come out of West Point and lead young guys that have been deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, etc while he’s been relaxing for four years.
Army Mustang makes a good point. I’ve been told by Marines that the best officers they’v ever had are mustangs. I have also heard the best officers from some Marines have been ones who just did NROTC or just went to OCS right after college. However, I have never heard someone say the best officers come from the Academies.
I did ROTC and pledge a frat… gotta go with Fratius on this one most dudes that come from WPoint are total tools.. it’s sad. I had a bunch of them in my Officer Basic Course and they were pretty hurt. I’m a good officer, I do what my sr NCO’s tell me what to do. I’m deployed right now, and if it weren’t for my highspeed E-4’s and NCO’s, I’d actually have to stop drinking coffee and do some work. Frat on Fratius…
As an Army officer currently in Afghanistan, I cannot agree with “grandfrat” any more, senior NCO’s know their shit and so do junior enlisted. I do disagree with the part about West Point, though. I know quite a few gents from West Point that are great guys and great leaders. In fact, I’d say that my two best friends that I’ve made so far in my career are Pointers. Sure, some have a “I’m better than you mentality”, but nothing more than I see from pretty much every Marine I meet. However, I AM thoroughly annoyed by how many people are considered “FaF” and the like because they are in some branch of the military. If they weren’t in the military, they’d be told “get off this site you fucking geed” or something along those lines. Too many of you punks show respect (which is of course due) to guys who you otherwise would haze for being a GDI. A majority of the guys in the military are GDI’s who love Tapout and all that shit, but they’re FaF because you’re scared of combat? Serving in the military is the most patriotic thing you can do, but far from fratty. Don’t classify a geed as a fratstar because you’re too afraid to put a uniform on. Carry on.
LT Frat, Amen brother. Yes, you are correct, most these dudes in the military only wear cargo shorts and TAPOUT tees, which is purportedly NF. Additionally, I agree that the military is definitely not “fratty” by definition from dudes on this site. For instance, if you are caught with any trace of cocaine/drugs/etc… you’re out. If you are involved in any sort of infidelity, you’re out. If you are constantly showing up trashed from binge drinking,.. you’re out. Hardly ANYONE anymore gets promoted based on what their “daddy” does or who he is, rather it’s generally based upon a man’s own merit and worth. Carry on LT, CPT Grandfrat. OEF 2011-2012
Haha. It is true that most guys in the military are huge geeds. Some of the guys I’m about to deploy with will receive much encouragement to spend their G.I. Bill at my school and rush my fraternity in 2013. However; they are a very small minority.
Everyone here speaks the truth. I’ve only been an E5 for about half a year and have a SL position but I’m thinking about going ROTC. I can tell you from experience that senior NCOs know their shit because they are the ones out their leading the missions even though technically the 1st/2nd Lieutenants are in charge and tell them what they want to do.
West Point is always recognized as one of the best schools in the country, hands down. If you don’t think they get hazed, you’re an idiot. My father is a USMA grad and flew in the Vietnam war. Would never call him a GDI, but I will call fratius a disrespectful piece of shit.
Being in any service academy/ ROTC program is American as fuck and so is serving your country in any aspect…. But if you’re never in a Greek letter organization, then yes, you will always be a gdi….. So constantinius… They are not FaF… But the are American as Fuck if it makes you feel any better
Father told me after I signed my bid card, “I didn’t have a fraternity at the Academy; I had a Squadron afterwards which is much closer.”
