A&M is sick of playing second fiddle to Texas. I don’t think they realize that the SEC has Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and LSU.

Oh yes, the almighty Georgia. Definitely should be mentioned in the same sentence as the other three.

Don’t forget about Auburn and Arkansas this year too. SEC is going to be salty this year.

Haha wow they really teach great grammar at A&M.

On topic, I mean that they constantly bitch and moan about the Longhorn Network giving Texas a leg up over them. I’ll agree that A&M did well last year, but that isn’t the point. In their eyes, and the eyes of pretty much everyone else in the state, they don’t compare to Texas. Whether or not its true is up for debate. I’m just saying that Aggies are tired of being treated like a red-headed stepchild when being mentioned in the same breath as Longhorns.

AlwaysxClassy, yeah second fiddle. You beat us one year out of like the last 10 years. A&M would be close to, if not bottom of the barrel in the SEC and you know it. I’ll be humble enough to admit that even Texas would have some trouble competing in the SEC. Suck a fat one because A&M got raped by Arkansas and LSU last season. If you couldn’t figure this out, that makes A&M 0-2 against the SEC last year. You’re just pissed because everybody at A&M has the biggest case of penis envy when it comes the The University of Texas. We may not be the oldest university in Texas but we are the best university in The Lone Star State and everybody outside of College Station/Bryan aka the asshole of the world knows that UT is the best. Go fuck a goat in true aggie style.

13 years ago at 9:01 pm
    5. Lucas Fratterson

Raped by Arkansas? Are you retarded? We lost by a fairly small margin and that was with 4-5 turnovers by our terrible starting (at the time) quarterback.
Proud Texan, yes those conference powers exist, but the SEC still has equal conference revenue distribution. Whereas in the Big 12, Texas, OU, and A&M make more than the 7 other schools, with Texas making even more due to its network network. Also, the SEC schools you mentioned don’t make attempts to strong arm the other conference schools, at the expense of the fairness and beauty of college football itself.
You obviously know nothing about the situation. Enjoy your life as an independent, or surrounded by shitstain schools like Baylor, Texas. I’ll be wasted in Oxford.

Frattin LikeMy Daddy, I don’t think you understand how animals work.

Lucas, I literally wrote nothing about revenue distribution. The SEC school weren’t mentioned for the sake of saying that they strong arm others to make football unfair; they don’t. I mentioned them because they’re all superior football teams that will kill A&M in conference play (probably not Georgia, but I’m a huge UGA fan and couldn’t help mentioning them). So, once again, A&M is gonna be a bitch their conference.

Honestly I have nothing against the Aggies, its just the way that I see the situation.

Then you lack any analytical skill whatsoever. As an SEC member institution, A&M’s recruiting will be vastly improved.

13 years ago at 6:40 pm
    8. Proud Texan

So you think recruits will pick A&M over LSU, Florida, and Alabama? You’re naive then.

A&M is full of geeds. And I think the only thing worse for this country than a democrat as president would be an aggie as president.

The Aggies are full of geeds? Have you seen most of the fan base of ANY SEC school???

13 years ago at 4:34 pm
    3. Sean Frayton

Yes. Full of geeds. As in the greek life there is almost non-existent. A brother from our A&M chapter visited a year or two ago. He had cargo shorts and a volcom polo. Real fuckin frat. As for Rick Perry, I haven’t decided if I support him yet or not. He was a male cheerleader afterall, TSM, and an aggie, TGdiM.

13 years ago at 8:37 pm
    4. Sean Frayton

at Fratatar…yes I did. Did you know he was a cheerleader in college as well? Oh also, did you see me once say anything about George W. Bush?

    5. Frattin LikeMy Daddy

Sean Frayton, Greek life has only been around at A&M since 1973. It is a Senior Military College and always has been, you know producing military men that fight for ‘MERICA. the “male Cheerleaders” Frat Hard and pull every sorostitute they meet.

13 years ago at 11:09 pm

Male cheerleaders, making our stadium twice as loud as your yawner for over a century.

Members of the Corps go to all branches of our great military. What the fuck do your grads do, deliver pizza?

Grow up. If you want to attack A&M, do it based on something valid, not you bashing our military like an unpatriotic gdi.

13 years ago at 6:41 pm
    8. Proud Texan

Yeah grads from UT, one of the 8 public ivies, deliver pizza upon graduation.

13 years ago at 8:28 am
    9. Sean Frayton

We have many grads from my school go to the military. The only difference is they don’t dress up in a uniform like it’s a four year halloween party during college claiming to be military when they are in fact non military.

13 years ago at 9:54 am
    10. Frattin LikeMy Daddy

SO sean frayton your saying wespoint and all the other Cadet Corps around the nation are playing dress up all the time. Grow up you unamerican GDI. Its part of a structured mililitary lifestyle. If you are not in the corps then you can not be in the military here at A&M. Your an idiot and do not even know what your talking about

of course they do, they have been had the longest pledgeship in college football history with texas, and now they have been getting hazed by OU for a decade.

I think A&M moving to the SEC would be a great thing. Ya’ll don’t realize that fucking half of the recruits to the top SEC schools come from TEXAS. Well if A&M was in the SEC then many of the top recruits would pick A&M over Florida, Bama, LSU, etc… Why? Because those kids would much rather play at a school an hour away from home near their families then go to a school 400 miles away. A move like this would also hopefully open a ton of doors for UH and SMU.

13 years ago at 4:42 pm
    1. Sexpert

Most of the recruits come from Florida and GA, LSU and Arkansas are the only ones who really recruit in Texas because OU and UT have such a stranglehold on the state

13 years ago at 4:51 pm
    2. Lucas Fratterson

The stranglehold would still be loosened by our involvement in the country’s elite conference.

Thanks you two, for being the only marginally level-headed, rational people on this entire post.

The SEC needs to add FSU and Clemson to the east and Texas A&M and Tulane to the west. The west is already strong enough.

13 years ago at 4:45 pm
    1. Fratsville_FL

Tulane actually used to be in the SEC, I think UT and OU could join the west, we get rid of Kentucky and add 2 teams for Virginia and North Carolina. This way we encompass the entire south. FSU wouldn’t be able to handle an entire season in the SEC…

13 years ago at 5:20 pm
    2. Fratimus__Prime

Why would you want to add the only other decent teams in the NCAA to the SEC? so some bullshit 3 loss Boise ST. can get into the Championship? ^dumb idea War Eagle

13 years ago at 11:41 pm
    3. Chief OsceBROla

@Fratsville, You’re saying FSU couldn’t handle an entire season in the SEC but North Carolina and Virginia could?

You may have the Longhorn Network, but we have the AGGIE NETWORK, biggest frat in the US.

13 years ago at 4:54 pm
    1. Lucas Fratterson

You may have the Longhorn Network, but you won’t once ESPN realizes it can’t get proper programming and thus no one wants it.

And when that day comes (quite soon), we’ll still have the Aggie Network.

Apparently there is a plan to bring TAMU, OU, OSU, and Mizzou into the SEC West and move Bama and Auburn to the East. Then after Texas goes independent Kansas and KSU will have to join the MWC, Iowa State will end up in the MAC, and Baylor will be condemned to C-USA.

first of all that makes absolutely no sense… go take a lap

and second of all you forgot about texas tech

13 years ago at 5:13 pm
    2. sorostitute_UT

umm Fratlanta, Tech only lost one more game that Georgia did and they were able to beat CU in Boulder and win their bowl game. Just saying.

13 years ago at 6:30 pm

It’s not about wins and losses. It’s about the SEC creating a larger footprint. Please, enlighten yourself before posting.

UGA went 6-7, so if Texas Tech lost one more game, yea i would say they suck.

Dressing in shitty, painted overalls for game day doesn’t really seem SEC classy to me. Their “traditions” aren’t really that great; they seem like a lot of hype over nothing. Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night: legitimate tradition. Rolling Toomer’s Corner: legitimate tradition. Playing between the hedges: legitimate tradition. At the Cotton Bowl, I literally saw yell leaders chasing armadillos around. I don’t even know what to say to that.

13 years ago at 5:04 pm
    1. Lucas Fratterson

And I saw you brush your teeth the other day. Should I compare that to the traditions you mentioned? Chasing armadillos is something they were probably doing for fun, it’s not a tradition.

Furthermore, you’re an idiot. And analogies are not really your strong point.

13 years ago at 1:39 am
    2. Proud Texan

If they chase armadillos for fun, they’re even bigger retards than FratPelican orginally described.

13 years ago at 4:11 pm
    3. Lucas Fratterson

I wasn’t there, so I can’t tell you why they were doing it. Nevertheless, comparing a random activity to a major tradition is retarded.

13 years ago at 6:42 pm
    4. Proud Texan

Most Aggie traditions suck. Saying howdy all the time is gay. Whooping is gay. Not having cheerleaders is gay. The only Aggie tradition still around that’s actually cool is the ring dunk.

13 years ago at 10:04 am
    5. FratPelican

How is chasing an armadillo fun, fuck face? Contracting leprosy is fun? On what planet is that fun? Getting drunk is fun. Having sex is fun. Fighting at the bar is fun. You are an idiot for defending this practice, shit dick.
