Americans died by the hundreds of thousands fighting the Germans (Nazi = political party, dumbass. Did the Waffen SS fight the Republican Party?).
Just like in WWI, and in most wars dating back to the Civil War, America was in no real threat of losing our freedom. We joined up to save the pussy British and fagget French from being crushed by the unstoppable wrath of the Wermacht. Germany could have eventually taken the USSR with proper circumstances (better preparation, better weather, etc); they nearly crushed Britain and annihilated France to say the least.
Fighting the Japanese was a just cause. But Germany posed no threat to our freedom. Even if they did try attacking us, Germany would have done it decades later – and any person whose worth their salt in military tactics knows that attacking mainland United States in a conventional war is fucking suicide.
My grandfathers both fought against the Germans in WWII. And I respect their service, and am in forever debt of the sacrifices of the U.S. military.
Bottom line: War against Germany in WW1 and WW2 = fucking waste of good American boys.
Germany had a man who was trying to revive their country from one of the worst economic disasters (caused by EU pussies such as France and Britain) in world history. If anything, we should have supported the Germans during WWII.
Look at Britain and France now: a bunch of whiny cowards who talk shit about America, cry about how inhumane our military is in Iraq and Afghanistan, disrespect us, but have been saved by us twice (not to mention the cleanup for the French: Vietnam War).

Stalin had his own plans for going to war with Germany–Hitler just beat him to the punch. I take good care of the fucking world by voting Republican and donating to philanthropies. Hitler also respected the French and the British too–he counted them as at least part-Aryan, so I’m not sure what that says about your Anglo-French hatred. And then lets not forget how when the whole world started caving down on them, rather than sue for peace, Hitler burned his whole nation down.
I’m not arguing Mao and Stalin were any better obviously–I think Mao was even worse. I’d rank Stalin and Hitler as equally evil, but I’d give Stalin a little leeway for at least fighting the Nazis on our team. Hitler didn’t have to kill as many people because he had much more support and loyalty from his ranks, which is good and all, but so did Hirohito, so I’m not sure what raw numbers of people muredered says about a leader. Killing 6 million people + war victims is quantitively less than 20 million or however many Mao killed, but I’m pretty sure once you give the order for the first 1000 or so you’re all evil to the core.
I am no pussy liberal, but I believe that America is a meritocracy that stands for justice, freedom. We are the city on a hill. The Nazi Party and the Germany it created was anything but.
