Breaking in new Sperrys, the one painful task a pledge can't do for you. TFM.

If you keep this up I can see you being deemed worthy of using my trademark. Good work.

The sad part is, this guy is an Omicron wannabe – check the O in his name. He’s copying a troll. Seriously how bad does your life have to be?

Actually I am a superstar and everybody wants to be me. With that said, I am glad that he is doing such a good job upholding the name and reputation of an Omicron. I see a bright future.

Thank you for your support BrotherO. But I don’t wanna be you. I AM you. TTwilightZoneM. Anyway, time to put on my Sperry’s and backwards Polo hat and head to the bar to pick up some slams. #happyhouriseveryhour

Try sailing in a brand new pair of sperrys…then tell me how your feet feel. You’ve obviously never worn sperrys if you don’t know they’re a bitch for the first week.

You’re supposed to sail in a brand new pair of sperrys… if you get them soaked and let them sun/air dry on your feet and wear them for the rest of the day the leather molds to your foot and loosens up where they flex so they fit perfect and it softens those bitch ass threads in the middle of the heel. Learned that little tip a while ago.

Exactly ^ The first thing i do after I buy a new pair is get them wet. Makes the process a lot less painful

salt water’s even better… breaks down the threads and they form better. These damn rookies,we picked up our first flying scot when i was five and stepped it up to a pacific seacraft not too long later. They’re made to grip the grit strips on the boat, not to burn your feet up on pavement. Sperrys are purpose-built. And they work. Except that one time. But I’d been drinkin.

If it weren’t winter and the water wasn’t in the mid 40s I would have given this a try

^^ I do remember this one, but I would not have a pledge form his feet in my shoes

Sebagos are uncomfortable as fuck. Who cares if they’re more expensive.

sebagos are for people that charter a sailboat and don’t know how to run upwind or break through the surf while they sit and wait. sad… great photo opportunity though.

What’s wrong with you? There’s nothing wrong with making a pledge break in your Sperrys.

If you’re properly hazing, I doubt you’ll want them back when they’re broken in

And if you’ve ever worn sperrys then you’d know that the reason they are so comfortable is because they form to your foot.

If you get them soaking wet while you wear them they’ll form to your feet. I don’t sail and it never rains in Austin. I would much rather have them broken a bit than get blisters on my feet. That’s just me though.

if it dont rain in austin stick them in a bathtub and go on a walk. Not that hard. just like buyin a new pair of ridin boots. If you’re gonna sit on a horse for six hours you might as well give your insoles a rest. My horses get pissed off when I kick when my feet are sore and theyre tennessee walkers mixed with a mix of quarters and aldusian… pretty smart, but if theyre moody, theyll let you know in a heartbeat.
