Never buying a car that plugs into the wall. TFM.

FEVs actually cause more local air pollution than gasoline-fueled cars (assuming the electricity fueling the cars doesn’t come from renewable sources). Tell that to the next geed you see driving an electric car.

What about a diesel truck? They are often plugged in to the wall, only in winter of course.

I do like my durtymax. 2002 Chevy 2500HD with a turbo, extended cab, lifted 6 inches, and sitting on a set of mickey 35’s. The look on gdi’s faces when they they see you driving a lifted turbo diesel is priceless. Oh, and you are correct in saying that the glow plugs need to be plugged in when the truck is not in use during the winter. It’s a bitch trying to start it if you forgot to do that on a cold night.

I like that truck for the body style, everything newer than that i dont like the front ends on them. Also, my bad in taking pride for my truck where I did all the custom work my self. I do all my own maintence and custom work on all my vehicles. I don’t take my stuff to the shop so GDI’s can work on it. I’d rather do the work in my shop that I have set up in my barn with my own tools so I know that everything is done right. Give’s me something to do. Sorry for knowing how to work on cars.
