Califratia, by your logic being an American = Treason then. We did the same thing during the American Revolution and without that uprising the United States of America wouldn’t even exist.
Maybe you should look up the definition of treason. Britain considered the American Revolution an act of treason. That was my point, which apparently you can’t comprehend.
@Sly, 1. go fuck yourself, 2. Texas has the 2nd best economy in the US. 3. If it was its own country it would be the 15th best economy in the world. I’m from Oklahoma (which is dependent on how badass Texas is)
Haha my chapter Shot the old TKE house up here with our cannon in the 70’s, ended up getting the TKE house condemned and they never came back lol. You can thank us for the Beta Eta chapter for the law about KA’s cannons having to be sealed shut, and for Old South.
Job well done gents!
you know it was the Alpha Mu chp is the reason for sealing the cannons, they missed the Chop house and sent pool ball through a 100 year stain glass window in a church in the late 70’s.
Too bad Robert E. Lee had nothing to do with the founding of KA, and several other fraternities were also founded by Confederates. Nice gesture, though.
Actually the Order uses Lees ideals and characteristics of a gentleman, (which you clearly arent.) Also he was designated the, “spiritual founder” because everyone liked his sense of duty and honor and his lessons of life. All four of our founders were greatly influenced by this man and tried to have the same ideals and lessons in the Order. So Broseph Kennedy, that is why he is such a big influence to Kappa Alpha Order and why we consider him a, “spiritual founder.” Great picture brothers
It was during the 1923 Convention that Robert E. Lee was first designated the Spiritual Founder. However, the founders of KA were highly influenced by his character, and did model their Order directly after his example and legacy. He was a large part of the Order from the beginning, though not officially titled the “Spiritual Founder” until 1923. Sorry Broseph, no arguing that.
Robert E. Lee didn’t have a damn thing to do with KA. He was also a temperance advocate and an aristocrat who would have thought modern KA was a bunch of rednecks who don’t serve their country. Robert E. Lee was a gentleman. A bunch of poor boys running around getting drunk and shirking responsibility would have disgusted him.
All of you just admitted that Lee never had any personal relationship with KA. They just decided to become a fan club in the 20’s obviously. And I’m no pike, but my fraternity has yours beat by about 30 years.
@broseph kennedy…the four founding fathers of KA all had personal relationships with R.E. Lee. He was the president and a professor at Washington University (now called Washington and Lee University). They admired him so because of the reasons listed above. That would mean that he has some sort of relationship to the organization. GREAT TRY THOUGH.
