In all fairness, the sickness of said event should be questioned. However, it is still the finding of this observer that the event was indeed “sick” and altogether worth telling in the proper forum.
I just gave this a check-up. The tests I ran included asking it to cough, getting a blood sample, and taking its temperature rectally. While I usually try to observe doctor-patient privilege, this is a matter of public importance. Ergo, I’m going to go ahead and share with y’all that the test results have come back in, and this was, indeed, sick.
It would be “get” because the TFM states that he rolled his sleeves up BEFORE the fight, so therefore “get” would be the correct tense. “Got” implies that the fight already happened and he is merely reminiscing about what had happened, which is not in the aforementioned post. Also, the post states “before the fight breaks out” meaning that he is not reminiscing on a fight that happened before, but merely states he does that before the fight BREAKS out, not broke out, meaning a fight hasn’t actually occurred. Which comes to my conclusion that “get” is the correct tense to use in this post.
