University Of Texas Misspells “Texas” 32 Times In Football Media Guide, OU Fans Make Them Pay
University of Texas head coach Charlie Strong has dismissed or suspended five different Longhorn players over the last week for violating team rules (and the law in some cases). He’s set a stern precedent that if you’re not up to his (and Texas’) standard, you’re gone. Charlie Strong is not, however, the managing editor of TexasSports.com. If he was, he may have taken the site offline while the entire staff endures an employment purge.
“Texas” was misspelled on every other page in the player profile section of the 2014 Texas Longhorns Media Guide. Check the bottom of the below page.
The misspellings have been corrected as you’ll in the updated media guide, but damage has been done. Once the internet catches wind of an error of this magnitude, you must pay. And once an OU fan sees that www.TexsaSports.com is available, he buys it.
From TexsaSports.com:
OU IS BETTER THAN TEXAS.
The scoreboard says otherwise.

11 years ago at 12:49 pmBest rivalry? It’s up there, but Bama vs Auburn has got it beat.
11 years ago at 1:14 pmYeah maybe in 1995.
11 years ago at 2:16 pmI’m a Sooner, but let me tell you no rivalry can compete with Army Navy. That game feels like no other. It may not decide championships, but it is awe inspiring.
11 years ago at 6:35 pmOklahoma isn’t even Texas’ biggest rival
11 years ago at 2:03 pmOhio State vs Michigan.
11 years ago at 2:51 pmNothing in college football beats the debauchery that occurs in Dallas each year on the second weekend in October. The atmosphere makes the best game in the nation. You simply don’t get that at home vs. away rivalries. Not to mention uptown Dallas has one of the highest smokeshow per capita ratings in the world.

11 years ago at 1:06 pmNothing wrong with reading your Bible my man
11 years ago at 12:56 amThe meltdown on my beloved campus in Austin is real. 6 players have now been dismissed, 1 has chosen to not return due to concussions (he was, in no way, liked to the disciplined players) and now ESPN is reporting that 5 more are on the chopping block. Coach Strong isn’t messing around.
