USC Delta Tau Delta Lost $13,500 When Rapper Tyga Didn’t Show Up For A Party

The LAPD are investigating a suspect that allegedly bamboozled the Delta Tau Delta chapter at Southern California out of $13,500 with false promises of booking rapper and Kylie Jenner remora Tyga for an April party. Delt’s party chair swung a deal with the “broker” back in February, wire transferred the fee to a U.S. Bank account, and never heard from the guy again.

According to docs obtained by TMZ, Tyga was a no-show at the party. The frat member says when he demanded a full refund … the suspect went radio silent.

LAPD’s now executed a search warrant at U.S. Bank to retrieve information about the owner of the account where the money was wired. The frat also hired a P.I. and according to the docs … their guy tracked down the suspect and found out he’s already being sued for ripping off someone else for $15k.

Cops haven’t made an arrest yet.

Let this be a PSA for the rest of the Greek community nationwide. Run far, far away from anyone around campus that is a self-described “premier promoter,” “elite entertainment company,” or “world-class entrepreneur.” These are the worst people society has to offer and to put your trust into one of these transparent swindlers is on par with sending back your social security number and bank account information to a Nigerian prince email.

Plus, there’s no need to drop that kind of coin to get “Faded” and hear a brutal live rendition of “Rack City” from an oversized, tatted up toddler when Gorilla Zoe or Chamillionaire will play a better, longer set for just a night’s stay and a hot-to-lukewarm meal..
