USC’s Pi Kappa Phi Sued After Drone Filming Party Falls And Ruins Chick’s Face

From the looks of it, USC’s Pi Kappa Phi’s “Glow Party” was sick. Unfortunately, for one female partygoer, she didn’t get much partying in. Instead, she went to the hospital with a head injury and not for a cool reason — like rage headbutting a door or smashing a beer bottle on her head. No, instead she got fucked up by a drone filming the rager. She’s now suing the fraternity.

From Daily Trojan:

The lawsuit alleges that [Alina] Pituch arrived at Pi Kappa Phi’s ‘Glow Party’ at around 11 p.m. on Oct. 3, 2015. The event was held in the backyard of Pi Kappa Phi’s house. According to the suit, the fraternity hired Perfect Event Inc. to organize the party and employ the operator of the drone that took pictures of those at the event.

Pituch alleges that about 15 to 20 minutes after her arrival, a ‘heavy object fell on [her] head, causing her to stumble forward into a friend, who caught [her] before she fell down.’ After the object struck her, Pituch’s head began to bleed ‘vigorously’ and she was taken by ambulance to a hospital, according to her court papers.

You’ve got to be unlucky as shit for this to happen to you. You’re going out for a night of drinking with hundreds of other people and BOOM a miniature helicopter falls from the sky and ruins your collegiate career. Congrats, you’re more unlucky than the entire Griswold family. Either that or someone really didn’t want you at this party.

This has got to be one of the most millennial lawsuits ever, too. Can you imagine trying to explain to your grandparents that you had to drop out of school because a robot fell from the sky? They’d probably tell you about how they walked 20 miles to each class in the snow while “Charlie” was breathing down their backs.

Of course, we all hope Alina makes a full recovery.

On top of that being said, though, this party looked dope.

Please don’t have daughters. Please don’t have daughters. Please don’t have daughters.

Serious question, though, does anybody actually listen to the type of music they always put on top of these party vids? I’m not browsing my Facebook feed or on YouTube while also high on molly. Tone down that techno shit.

Godspeed to all parties involved in this unfortunate incident.

But if she was ugly before this, the judge needs to take that into account.

I request they release the drone footage of the plummet itself.
