Here we have Houston Rocket’s All-Star James Harden reassuring all stereotypes when it comes to the game of basketball at a youth camp.

It’s never too early for the children of today to get a rude awakening that the NBA will not be in their future. I haven’t seen anyone look this bad at playing defense since, well, Harden himself.

Once you realize you’ve been made a fool of you simply cannot let Harden complete the play. Wrap him up. Stick your foot out and trip him. Grab his arm. You absolutely have to do whatever it takes to not let the humiliation go any further with a slam dunk to enhance the hooting and hollering. No easy buckets.

Here’s a tip, kid: Stop following the head fakes. Keep your eyes on those hips, they don’t lie. Just ask your sister who has been trying to pull off those medium sized yoga pants after putting on the freshman 15, her hips don’t let her tell that lie.

It’s time for this youngster to put the work in. Become a student of the game. Start being the first one in, first one out at practice. Bring that extra bit of grit with you each and every time you step foot on the hardwood. Dive for loose balls. Box out. Make that extra bounce pass. Be more coachable than any other player. Lastly, go out and buy yourself a pair of Curry 2s.
