VIDEO: Jesse Watters Asks Socialism Supporters What Free Stuff They Want, Makes Them Look Ridiculous

Socialism: great in theory, terrible in practice. Sure, it sounds nice and all to get tons of free stuff from the government — free school, free healthcare, free whatever. The only problem comes when you ask the question, “how are we going to pay for it all?” That’s a big expense, and we can’t just print money without running the risk of deflating the value of the dollar so bad we become the next Zimbabwe.

Tons of young Americans have jumped aboard the Bernie Sanders socialism train, so FOX News’ Jesse Watters hit the streets to ask them what they really want from the government.

“We have this thing called ‘The Treasury.’ That’s the money warehouse!” Nailed it.

I know we love to shit on bernouts but in all honesty it seemed like he pulled a bunch of weird looking college kids off the streets and asked them leading questions. Lap me if you want, but this is just pointless to me.

He’s also asking them if “they would like a free _____” not if “_____SHOULD be free.” If he asked me if I would like a free massage, I would be an idiot to say no. But should it be free? Absolutely not

Which is probably what you meant by “asked them leading questions” so I’ll just go ahead and shut up from now on

No, this is good. The high schoolers reading the initial comment don’t have the brain power to make that conceptual leap, so it’s good that you laid it out for them.

Best thing about Socialists is that they think slapping the word “Democratic” onto it somehow erases a century of it economically buttfucking entire continents

Very poorly written with little to no knowledge of the current banking system. We are currently in so much debt that taxes alone cannot afford all of our necessities. In this case, we borrow money from the Federal Reserve(Private Banking) not the Treasury. The Fed is in charge of our interest rates, loaning to foreigners/our banks and printing our money. They work on a fractional reserve banking system which is the basis of most modern banking. When the general public deposits money into a bank, you are lending it money and are taking a risk that they will not have it available for you upon demand if you withdraw it. With all of these “monies” aka reserve notes at hand, the bank can then issue loans to others with added interest on money that doesn’t exist. And seeing how we haven’t audited the Federal Reserve for gold in decades, I think your article is wrong in stating how we don’t create money out of thin air.

But everyone on Facebook says that if we just tax the 1% like Sanders says all of our problems will go away. They even have memes saying so.

Honestly paying a lil more in taxes for free health care isn’t a bad idea, it’s just a shame they have this old hippie that takes hours to deliver a one sentence speech relaying that message

“Paying more taxes” to get ” free”.

You keep using that word, but I don’t think it means what you think it does.
