VIDEO: Jesse Watters Asks Socialism Supporters What Free Stuff They Want, Makes Them Look Ridiculous

Socialism: great in theory, terrible in practice. Sure, it sounds nice and all to get tons of free stuff from the government — free school, free healthcare, free whatever. The only problem comes when you ask the question, “how are we going to pay for it all?” That’s a big expense, and we can’t just print money without running the risk of deflating the value of the dollar so bad we become the next Zimbabwe.

Tons of young Americans have jumped aboard the Bernie Sanders socialism train, so FOX News’ Jesse Watters hit the streets to ask them what they really want from the government.

“We have this thing called ‘The Treasury.’ That’s the money warehouse!” Nailed it.

Correction Harrison: socialism is terrible in theory.

The theory is I can force money from people justified by my own greed. If they don’t give me what I want, I will send people with guns to take it from them.

    That is socialism.

I hate when a so-called conservative will concede the point that socialism and communism are good in theory.

With you brother, you aren’t wrong.

Far left argues morality; the right argues effectiveness and efficiency.

The uninformed will go with the emotional argument 90% of the time.

Therefore, you have to call socialism what it is, greedy and evil.

Better question is “name one country were socialism works.” Answer will rhyme with ‘rickets;.

I might support the free vasectomy (and tubal ligation) idea as long as it was permanent and targeted toward undesirables.

Actually the sterilization of undesirables comes straight from the teachings of Margaret Sanger the messiah of Planned Parenthood. Margaret Sanger is also Hillary Clinton’s hero. Not sure were you got that Joseph Mengele meme.

In the UK we have ‘Free’ schools up to the age of 17/18 , ‘Free’ healthcare (the NHS). These services are funded through separate taxation streams.

Education and most of Health is funded via income tax which ranges from 0% for very low earners, 20% for those earning up to the equivalent of $50k and 40% tax on earnings over $50.1k pa.

Some of UK Health is funded by 2nd level taxation called National Insurance contributions. The formula is a bit complex but individuals pay approximately 11% of earnings up to $50k, the employer also makes an equal contribution of around 11% of employee earnings on top of this.

So in UK , if you have nothing you are still entitled to free education and healthcare but it is funded by taxes. The quality of the services provided by the state are good but those who can prefer to pay for superior education for their children as well as paying for private healthcare.

This system has worked for almost 100 years unfortunately the healthcare system has been subject to abuse from EU migrants who are allowed to enter into the UK and demand free healthcare despite never having made a contribution. It is for this reason the UK are having a referendum to decide whether we stay in the EU or not (the USA apparently has its own thoughts on what the citizens of UK should do)

Young Americans and Sanders are not stupid or naive . Free at the point of service, high quality healthcare and education can be provided provided you are prepared to make a contribution where others less fortunate than you may also benefit. That will never happen in the USA unfortunately because of the culture of greed that forms part of the USA citizen DNA

Best way to show a Bernie fan that they are stupid is to go up to them and take half of their food.
