VIDEO: Rory McIlroy Makes Insane 80-Foot Putt During Practice Round At Oakmont
Oakmont Country Club is just a beast of a course, and that’s before they turn it into US Open conditions. The founders of Oakmont wanted the course to be the toughest it could be, so much so that rumor has it they used to follow players around and make note of when a bad shot went unpunished just so they could make that part of the course harder.
Rory McIlroy wanted to show off just how silly the greens were by trying out a nice little 80-foot putt.
Godspeed to everyone at Oakmont this week. I expect about a +4 to come away the winner..
