Video: UGA Kid, Possibly High On PCP, Strips Naked And Dives Into Back Of Garbage Truck — It Takes 4 Cops To Pull Him Out

A student at the University of Georgia, who authorities believe may have been high on PCP, stripped naked and jumped into the back of a garbage truck last week.

It took four officers to pry 22-year-old senior Benjamin Abele out of the trash pile. The task was all the more difficult as he fought back with abnormal strength against the officers, who struggled to grasp his slippery, sludge-covered, flailing limbs.

Tipsters tell us he is a member of FIJI at UGA.

The incident occurred at 2:30 a.m. Sunday and began when an officer monitoring a crowd was asked by someone whether he had seen the naked man running across East Clayton Street. The officer thought it was a joke, but when he turned to look, he saw Abele leave the entrance to an apartment next to Lay-Z-Shopper and run toward a city sanitation truck stopped in the road, jumping into the rear hopper.

Racing over to the truck, the officer looked in and saw Abele “laying in the contents of the hopper which consisted of bags of garbage and about six inches deep of dirty and foul liquid seeping from the bags,” according to the report.

The officer – a sergeant with the police department’s downtown operations unit and a former member of the Northeast Georgia Regional Drug Task Force – saw that Abele “had a dazed look on his face and his eyes were completely dilated,” and he “immediately recognized this as a possible manifestation of PCP impairment.” The officer called for backup and also called for an ambulance.

Abele was shocked once with a Taser while in the garbage truck and a second time after he was finally pulled out and placed, still thrashing, on the ground, according to the police report.

After Abele was placed into the ambulance, two police went with him to control him, as he was “cyclic in his moods and fighting with abnormal strength,” according to the report.

Damn. When it comes to getting way too fucked up and putting yourself in bad situations, I’ve seen people end up in some downright shameful places. Inside of urine troughs. Underneath morbidly obese women. But ending up naked in the hopper of a garbage truck rolling around in cummy tissues and moldy food sludge has to take the shitcake. Can’t say I know what a PCP trip is like, but those cops must have looked like demons from Hell for him to want to dive further into that pile of mess. We also don’t know for sure that he was on PCP, but it sounds like it. Especially the “abnormal strength” part. He’s a scrawny kid, and he ate two tasers like they were Nerf darts and fought off four cops, each at least twice his size.
