Professor told me, "I'm tired of your blind patriotism." TFM.

Blind patriotism is for uneducated rednecks who call themselves republicans because everyone else does. Actual (real) patriotism is founded in the belief of classic conservative ethics, morals, values, and political/social/economical ideologies–not to mention a strong comprehension of history, as well.

I am not a blind partisan of the Republican Party, I identify Abraham Lincoln as one of the shittiest presidents in United States history. TFM.

Well, one way to look at it is this……I still display the American flag whenever and wherever possible despite the fact that there is a retarded socialist dickbag in office right now. If that’s blind patriotism, then so be it. ‘Murica.

to the Fiji bitch ^ you’re a little cocksucker, regardless of your political ideology any terrorist who kills a US President deserves to die a slow painful death. I hope you are kicked in the face by a horse, or a Phi Mu, or really any barnyard animal that has a bigger dick than you.

StacysDad, he was no more of a terrorist to the North as Lincoln was a terrorist to the South. It is all relative to the perspective. Oh, and Lincoln was the person who deserved to die a slow painful death. If you do not think putting lead in the head of Abraham Lincoln then subsequently riding off into the Virginia countryside on horseback was FAF then you are a stupid geed, not to undermine your seemingly phenomenal aptitude for making yourself look like one.

Public schools teach that the civil war fought for slavery but this is wrong. In reality it was for states rights. Lincoln never wanted to free the slaves. In Lincoln’s first inaugural address in 1861, he said “I have no purpose, directly or indirectly, to interfere with the institution of slavery in the States where it exists. I believe I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so.” and “No person held to service or labor in one State, under the laws thereof, escaping into another, shall in consequence of any law or regulation therein be discharged from such service or labor, but shall be delivered up on claim of the party to whom such service or labor may be due.”

I’m sorry msuspartan next time I anonymously post something on the internet I’ll proofread to make sure I emulate the amount of class and sophistication that would make my parents proud, and next time don’t end a comment with “…” it just makes you look like a douche

“Sure, I’ve been called a xenophobe, truth is I’m not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and all the other countries aren’t as good. That used to be called patriotism.”

Some people say that we’re no longer better. I disagree. We’re the only country on the planet where the children of immigrants have grown up to be Presidents, where hard work can, even with all this country’s present shit, still can make you a billionaire, where innovation has held its court for the last hundred years and where the plane, computer, car, nuclear missile and biological warfare, among many other things, were first invented.

America, not the best country in the world? I don’t know whose fucking narrative people are reading, but it can’t be the right one.
