If you ever wondered what it would look like if you threw a big bag of random crap into a volcano, wonder no more. The greatest grade school science experiment of all time took place at Ethiopia’s Erta Ale volcano lake.

I’m sure after watching that video you’re thinking the same thing I am: That didn’t look anything like when Gollum fell into the lava in Mount Doom at the end of Lord of the Rings: Return of the King! That was awesome and I want to get really drunk and throw shit into volcanoes. If Hawaiians don’t do this in their free time then they’re wasting their lives on those islands.
