The famous island green par 3 17 at TPC Sawgrass hasn’t had a hole-in-one in nearly a decade and a half. That was until former UAB Blazer Will Wilcox took an awkward hack at it today with zero follow through and an extremely delayed club twirl.

Birmingham Billy became the first golfer to ace 17 at The Players since Miguel Ángel Jiménez back in 2002.

Will Wilcox is an all-time underrated great sports name.
