Colin Cowherd Says The SEC Is Bullshit
If you missed it, Colin Cowherd listed his top four playoff teams as Clemson, OU, Michigan State, and Ohio State. Bama was missing, despite winning the SEC West. On his show today, Cowherd decided to call out the SEC altogether.
"The SEC is living totally off reputation" – @ColinCowherd on why Alabama isn't in his Top 4. #HerdHere

Hey, the CFB playoff committee puts a big emphasis on a conference title, so if Bama wins, they are in. Sorry, Colin. If Florida pulls off a massive upset on Saturday, then the SEC would most likely be left out. But let’s be real — that ain’t happening.
He also had a great line about Iowa on his show today.
Roasted..

Now i seem to remember why Colin isn’t on ESPN and why he’s on fox……..oh yeah because he’s a dumbass.
10 years ago at 11:16 pmThe sad truth is Alabama’s gonna run the table and make it to the national championship. Clemson has the possibility of losing against a very good UNC defense. Iowa ain’t gonna make it either. They might slide Ohio State back into the playoff picture it depends on MSU. Alabama’s gonna win it all. RTR. SEC Nation
There’s no way osu will be in it, they have the big ten playoff contender decided by the mich st v Iowa game.

10 years ago at 11:42 amNo one gives a fuck if you have 5-star athletes. It doesn’t mean shit if you dominated in high school and can’t do shit when you get to college, it about how you use your players through coaching and play calling. Sorry Colin, you get a big ‘Fuck You’.
10 years ago at 2:22 pmI’ll have to update this but just to kind of show everyone that the SEC built their reputation as a whole and not just on national titles.
10 years ago at 3:54 pmBefore last season: Best win perecentage vs. power 5 conferences last ten years
SEC .633
BIG 12 .548
Pac 12 .537
The SEC has also been incredibly consistent as they have had a winning record in bowl games every year for the past ten years. Not really up and down years. Just a consistent 50% and up record.
The SEC is overrated but not as much as you’d like to think.
